Gabriela is a certified translator and attorney, having received formal training from high profile institutions such as the University of Buenos Aires, Columbia University in New York and the City University in London.

Gabriela is also committed to continuing professional development and regularly attends translation-related and cross-disciplinary workshops, seminars and other events held by professional associations.

EXPERIENCE

Gabriela has assisted numerous public and private sector clients with high volume translations of legal and business documents. She also has extensive experience in serving the translation needs of some of the most prominent international organizations and NGOs. Her translations have been used effectively as part of large-scale human rights, development and humanitarian initiatives and are often quoted by the international media.

Before deciding to become a freelance translator, Gabriela worked in-house at the law and finance department of one of South America’s leading translation companies.

Gabriela offers professional English > Spanish translation, editing and proofreading services. She employs a three-step quality assurance process: after translation, all documents are subject to stringent target-to-source proofing and a final edit, regardless of the job’s size or urgency.
